Terms of Service

Effective May 21, 2026

Welcome to Highscore. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Highscorewebsite, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Highscore(“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.

2. The Service

Highscore provides AI-powered tools for planning, testing, debugging, securing, documenting, and launching software applications. Output is generated by third-party large language models and is provided on an as-is basis. You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and acting on any output before using it in production environments.

2.1 No guarantee of accuracy

AI-generated output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. The Service does not constitute legal, security, financial, medical, or other professional advice. The Security Scanner tool, in particular, performs a first-pass review and is not a penetration test or a security certification.

3. Plans, credits, and billing

We offer the following plans:

  • Free: 5 total credits over the lifetime of the account, shared across all tools.
  • Pro: $25 / month, unlimited credits.
  • Annual: $199 / year, unlimited credits.

Each successful tool execution consumes 1 credit on the Free plan. Pro and Annual subscriptions provide unlimited credits subject to fair use and the prevention of abuse (see Section 6).

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for our paid plans. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until canceled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current paid period.

4. Refunds

Our refund policy is described in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5. Your content and reports

You retain ownership of the inputs you submit to the Service (“Inputs”) and the outputs generated for you (“Outputs”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process Inputs and Outputs solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any Inputs you submit and that they do not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right (including intellectual property, privacy, and publicity rights);
  • Submit content that is illegal, harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise objectionable;
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its underlying infrastructure;
  • Generate output intended to harm, deceive, or attack any system you do not own or have explicit authorization to test;
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or its output without our prior written consent;
  • Abuse unlimited-credit subscriptions through automated, bulk, or inorganic usage patterns.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers including Clerk, Google Firebase, Paddle, NVIDIA, and Vercel. Their availability, terms, and privacy practices are independent of ours. A current list is in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including the Highscore name, logo, software, and user interface, is owned by Highscore and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for the limited license to use the Service granted by these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate, complete, safe, or suitable for your specific use case.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Highscore and its officers, employees, affiliates, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Highscore from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Service, (b) your Inputs or Outputs, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.

13. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also modify these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will provide notice (e.g. in-product or by email). Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Highscore is established, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You and Highscore agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction for any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that may apply in your country of residence.
